Everybody was discussing about Economic recession from so many months but actual recession has really come now. Now IMF has also admitted that this is really ‘deep recession’. This slowdown gallop developing as well as developed countries.

IMF says that this slowdown will affect the economy till 2010.The IMF says this will happen despite a big fiscal stimulus from many G20 countries designed to boost growth. Even the World Bank notes this is the first such contraction since World War 2, with growth at least five percentage points below potential. The World Bank also warned that global trade would contract for the first time since 1982, and that the decline would be the biggest since the 1930s.

But there was good news from World Bank for Chinese people, that china is fighting the global slowdown better than many countries due to its strong hand on banks. Moreover World Bank Appreciate the government on quick implementation of US$585 billion (RM2 trillion) of the stimulus plan.

"The government's stimulus is working (and) China's fundamentals are strong enough to ride out this storm," according to Louis Kuijs, a senior economist at the World Bank in Beijing.

Talking about other nations in Asia, India, Indonesia and the Philippines are only Asian coutries that experience economic growth apart from China this year, but they will have to adjust to much lower growth than in previous years.

Growth in India is forecast to slip to 5.7 percent for its financial year ending March 2010, after averaging 8.8 percent annually over the past five years. Large interst rate cuts , increased government spending ,tax and duty cuts should help growth recover in 2010-11 but only to 7 percent.Asian governments have announced big fiscal booster doose in recent months but they will take time to strenghthen the broader economy, analysts said.

An Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) is a light Emitting Diode (LED) whose emissive electroluminescent layer is composed of a film of organic compounds. The layer usually contains a polymer substance that allows suitable organic compounds to deposited. Such systems used in television screens, computer displays, small, portable system screens such as cell phones. OLEDs can also be used in light sources for general space illumination, and large-area light-emitting elements. OLEDs typically emit less light per area than inorganic solid-state based LEDs which are usually designed for use as point-light sources
A significant benefit of OLED displays over traditional liquid crystal displays (LCDs) is that OLEDs do not require a backlight to function. Thus they draw far less power and, when powered from a battery, can operate longer on the same charge. Because there is no need for a backlight, an OLED display can be much thinner than an LCD panel. Degradation of OLED materials has limited their use.
